just got back from france after 3 weeks of nice wether , decided to photograph mushrooms and fungi, not one of my better ideas as this involve me getting at he creak of dawn and wondering of in to vast area of woodland , which after an hour or so, had me ask myself, "ok now where are we"

testing a new lens, see gallery as the spec the same only difference is this one been through photoshop , colour pic was turn in black and white using the grey scale mode, brightness and contrast was adjusted the dodge tool was used on the face and arms , then turned back in to RGB pic, then flowers were hand painted to give a bit of colour , picture was taken in some one kitchen and lou was sitting on they work surface , light is from a window behind me , didn't use flash as i love natural light and hate flash

had to be done a picture of a frenchman wearing a beret at a market..

well spend a week working in france, with a colleague from straw-hat ( http://www.straw-hat.co.uk ) good time was had, food was excellent and drank plenty of black cafe , took snaps of bramtone, st jean de cole and jumilhac le grand plus all the places in between ,including various cattle and plants weather was good nice even light and best of all it was warm . got some very good candid snaps from the markets of people buy and selling veg and at pavement side cafes and general pretty snapper for an agency, graham from straw hat got some excellent pictures and added bonus for me was trying to be macho with a packet of chewing gum and finish up minus to front teeth ..o joy ,have put some snaps from france on my web site .......
